Apna Haryana,
at home in Alberta
AHAA brings Haryanvi families across Edmonton, Calgary and the province together to celebrate our festivals, keep our language alive, and support one another in our new home.
From the fields of Haryana to the foothills of the Rockies
The Apna Haryana Association of Alberta (AHAA) is a volunteer-run, non-profit community for people from Haryana and everyone who loves its culture. Both lands share wheat fields, wide skies and a spirit of hard work and hospitality.
We host festivals and sports days, pass the Haryanvi boli on to our children, welcome newcomers to Alberta, and give back to the wider community.
The people behind AHAA
Our elected volunteers plan events, look after the association's affairs and represent the Haryanvi community across Alberta.
